This typical village surrounded by rounded hills covered with cistus is proud of its Mother Church with origins in the sixteenth century, which maintains the typical design of the architecture of the place, consecrated to Saint Michael, Archangel, who imposes himself in the centre of the town, for its location, for the whiteness and simplicity of its façade, surrounded by a small churchyard and finished, to the south, by a bell tower, which can be climbed from the outside.

Thus, the beautiful eighteenth-century carved altarpiece stands out, where flowers, vine leaves and twisted columns coexist with two small angels, framing the central element of the High Altar: the image of the patron saint, Saint Michael, with his martial robes and his typical Scale, an instrument for the behavioural evaluation of souls, in Christian/Catholic doctrine.
